I had to chuckle at the reference to Hagerstown, MD. We lived there for a few years and I was almost certain nobody else had ever heard of it! This is an interesting work and I’m anxious to read more. I appreciate the deep thoughts and philosophical zingers woven in amidst the descriptions of ordinary but necessary life details! Thank you for sharing.
Ha! I love it. Believe it or not, these references are to my own family. My father grew up in Hagerstown, MD on a big farm in the mountains. I'm weaving some of these details in the narrative. I'm so glad you're enjoying the work! I'll be posting chapter three in a couple of days. :)
It’s genius, Tim! You do the blending of voices so well. It’s got an “Inception” dream within a dream within a dream thing going on with all the stories, but in a fascinating keep-you-on-your-toes way not an overwhelming way. I’m off to the next chapter! (I’m so thankful I don’t have to wait for the chapters to be released like your original readers here. Hehe!)
Chapter 3 can't come soon enough
Yah! It's coming :)
