Greetings everyone! Welcome to Week 2 of the Book Club.

Last week was great! I loved the interaction and insight. It got me stoked for this week!

Here are this week’s questions to get us going.

  1. What was your favourite thing about this week’s reading? It can be anything, literally?

  2. What do you think about Lewis’s insight into the bodily posture of prayer? How prevalent do you think this is in the Church? How convicting was it for you if you care to share?

  3. How can we reach this “nakedness of the soul of prayer” that Lewis suggests is so vital for the Christian faith?

  4. In our sensate culture, how much do you think “feelings” govern public prayer, and even worship services, which are really extended periods of prayerful singing?

  5. Undermining faith and the prevention of forming virtues. Lewis supposes this is the chief work of the demons. Do you agree? How do you see that happening in the greater culture? Or even your own life—if, of course, you care to share.
